EVO 2017 Details Revealed

The lineup for one of the largest fighting game tournaments of the year was revealed in a live stream on Twitch by the channel redbullsports.

The stream was hosted by Mike Ross and EVO (Evolution Championship Series) Organizer Joey Cuellar, aka Mr.Wiz. The first portion of the stream was spent discussing how EVO has evolved, things to improve this year, and of course, the games that will be in the tournament.

Here is the official lineup:

  • Street Fighter V
  • Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator 2
  • Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
  • Super Smash Bros. Melee
  • Injustice 2
  • BlazBlue: Central Fiction
  • Tekken 7
  • King of Fighters XIV

The last game in EVO 2017 will be decided by the fans. The choices are below.


To pick, you must donate to a charity that represents the game. Click here if you would like to donate for one of the games. You better hurry, you only have 2 weeks to donate!

The game will also be featured as the opening game on the last day (Sunday, the 16th of June) of EVO 2017 and receive a $10,000 pot bonus.

The other 4 games that will have their finals on Sunday will be:

  • Street Fighter V
  • Tekken 7
  • BlazBlue: Central Fiction
  • Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
