AMD Ryzen First Set of CPUs Coming March 2nd

As a PC gamer, I cannot help but be excited by the new set of CPUs coming from AMD so here is a little bit of information about the AMD Ryzen.

The CPUs of the Ryzen family coming out on March 2nd are part of the Ryzen 7 family which is suppose to clash with Intel i7 CPUs. It is also worth noting that every single Ryzen CPU will be overclockable, there won’t be any locked Ryzen CPUs.  Here are some specs for the Ryzen 7 family.

The new CPUs will be using a AM4 socket, which is supported by motherboards with an X370, B350, or A320 Chipset. Here is a helpful link to find out more about motherboards compatible with the Ryzen family.

As most people are hoping, this new competition Intel is facing will most likely bring down the cost of its CPUs that Intel has had as a monopoly for a while. This will hopefully fuel both companies in their desire to innovate in the future which is great news for PC enthusiasts everywhere.

You can pre-order the new Ryzen CPUs now.
